Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy to help patients get well. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while training patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence. Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based settings. Work directly with patients as a healer and teacher to transform their road to recovery.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
