Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients in home and assisted living facilities for communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Screen, examine, and establish diagnoses to design individualized treatment plans covering oral motor skills, speech intelligibility, and adaptive device training. Direct patient participation in therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and modify plans as needed. Supervise temporary licensees and support personnel while coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Adhere to treatment schedules, complete clinical and billing documentation, and ensure a safe environment by managing equipment and identifying hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence.
