Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy to help older adults stay active and children regain mobility. Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while addressing the whole patient as an individual. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity through personalized care in skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based settings. Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive the comprehensive rehabilitation and wellness services they need to thrive.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
