Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity in a facility-based setting with Powerback Rehabilitation. The role focuses on assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering physical therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities. Requires licensed PT with a Master’s degree (or equivalent combination of PT degree with experience) and eligibility for licensure in the state of practice; visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available. The team-oriented position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with peers, training patients and caregivers, and continuing education participation. Location is in-facility in West Reading, PA. Responsibilities include: evaluating patient needs, creating recovery plans, delivering PT services, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize functional outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 1. Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
- 2. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- 3. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or Master’s in a related field with additional PT degree)
- Valid Physical Therapy license in state of practice
- Ability to obtain/verify PT license (outside-the-US degree evaluated for US equivalency)
- Experience requirements: either Master’s in PT or PT-related Master’s with Bachelor’s in PT, or Bachelor’s in PT with 5 years of progressive PT experience
- Visa sponsorship eligibility (H-1B)
- Relocation assistance availability
