Job Summary
School-based Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for implementing treatment plans focused on functional outcomes within student IEPs, collaborating with teachers, SLPs, OTs, and other professionals, assessing progress through tests, producing annual review reports, attending IEP-related meetings, and conducting screenings/evaluations to determine pediatric PT needs in a school setting. Requires pediatric-focused clinical experience, a Physical Therapy degree, and a valid license with CPR certification; role involves high-volume workload management, documentation, and cross-team communication. Travel opportunities via Journey Travel Program exist for full-time team members.
Required Qualifications
- valid and unencumbered Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice
- qualifying degree in Physical Therapy
- current CPR Certification
- clinical experience with pediatric population preferred
