Job Summary
School-Based Physical Therapist provides therapy to students aged 3-21 within the school setting. Implements treatment plans focused on functional and measurable outcomes as mandated by each student’s IEP; collaborates with the student’s treatment team (teachers, SLP, OT, PCP, etc.); assesses and documents progress through tests and measurements; writes annual review goals and reports aligned with IEP dates; attends school-related meetings (IEP, annual reviews, domains, referrals); conducts screenings and evaluations to determine needs for skilled PT intervention in the school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice
- Qualifying degree in Physical Therapy
- Current CPR Certification
- Clinical experience with pediatric population preferred
