Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist, assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy in an in-facility setting. You’ll train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity, collaborate with a rehab team, and contribute to a patient-centered care approach across varied settings (facility-based, outpatient, and Home/Community). The role emphasizes designing and implementing therapy programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, while coordinating with peers and referring clinicians to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
