Job Summary
Travel to and from patients' homes to provide physical therapy as ordered by a physician, conducting one-on-one evaluations of movement dysfunction and diagnosing specific conditions. Design personalized treatment plans, adjust interventions based on progress, and utilize hands-on techniques such as massage to promote healing. Consult with patients to review medical history and instruct family members or caregivers on appropriate recovery techniques. Maintain detailed patient records tracking goals and adapting care accordingly. Requires current NY State licensure and graduate-level clinical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy Licensure in NY State
- Graduate of an accredited PT program
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
