Job Summary
The PT provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral, following Life Care standards and applicable laws. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, establishing and modifying goals, supervising PTAs/Rehab Aides/students, thorough charting, using therapy software, delivering excellent customer service, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality. Requires active state licensure, completion of accredited PT program (BSPT/MSPT/DPT), CPR certification, and ability to work full-time in a post-acute care setting. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable state and must maintain active license in good standing
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
