Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge planning for patients. Document all patient care activities, progress summaries, and charges accurately while managing an accurate schedule and meeting productivity expectations. Consult with healthcare professionals to modify plans of care as needed and participate in program planning and protocol development. Provide clinical instruction to students and mentor inexperienced staff, volunteers, and technicians. Required Qualifications
- licensed physical therapist
- professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy
- demonstrated use of varied evaluation and treatment approaches
- customer service skills for interacting with patients, including communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds
- effective communication
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification
