Job Summary
Licensed Physical Therapist needed for outpatient sports PT at MedStar Health in Laurel, MD. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, performing re-evaluation and discharge planning, and maintaining thorough documentation. Provide patient and family education, coordinate with the health care team, mentor students and staff, and pursue ongoing professional development to meet program goals. Must be a graduate of an accredited PT program and hold MD/DC/VA licensure as required for the location; BLS certification is required. Salary range reflects USD annual compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association’s BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification
