Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient screenings, evaluations, and treatment planning for outpatient orthopedic and sports cases. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, monitor progress, and adjust plans based on evolving patient conditions. Manage discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of all clinical activities and charges. Participate in program planning, protocol development, and team goal achievement. Provide clinical instruction to students and mentor new staff, volunteers, and technicians. Maintain an accurate schedule while demonstrating flexibility to ensure frictionless patient access. Required Qualifications
- licensed physical therapist
- professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy
- demonstrated use of varied evaluation and treatment approaches
- customer service skills for interacting with patients, including communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds
- effective communication
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification
