Provides evaluation and treatment planning for outpatient orthopedic patients, including screening, assessments, treatment implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and thorough documentation. Explains findings to patients and families, collaborates with other healthcare professionals, adapts plans based on patient condition, supports continuing education and serves as a clinical instructor for students, while maintaining productive schedules and patient access to care. Requires licensure in Maryland/DC/VA and BLS CPR certification. Hires within MedStar Health’s outpatient setting in Lothian, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association’s BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR certification
