Job Summary
Licensed Physical Therapist to provide in-home and community-based PT services to adults with developmental disabilities in NJ. Conduct evaluations, develop ISP-aligned treatment plans, deliver one-on-one therapy, document per DDD standards, collaborate with coordinators and families, provide caregiver training, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records. Requires NJ PT license, CAPTE-accredited DPT, CPR/BLS, background checks, reliable transportation, and ability to meet DDD training requirements; prior experience with I/DD and bilingual abilities are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the NJ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates considered.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
- Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver's license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass DDD-required background checks including the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (CRoff).
