Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients in their private residences or independent living facilities by screening, examining, and developing individualized physical therapy programs. Implement therapeutic techniques including balance training, gait retraining, and manual therapy while instructing patients and caregivers on mobility skills and adaptive device use. Manage referrals to other disciplines, maintain clinical and billing documentation, and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress. Ensure a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols and reporting equipment needs. This role supports Powerback's mission to help older adults stay active and thrive through personalized, home-based rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility
- Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence
