Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans to restore strength, mobility, and function for patients with serious conditions such as respiratory failure, stroke, or congestive heart failure. Provide direct patient care, educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and document treatment sessions and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with rehab teams and participate in discharge planning for complex cases involving mechanical ventilation, dialysis, or IV therapy. This role is full-time at Kindred Hospital Ft. Lauderdale within Lifepoint Health's network of specialty hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of FL
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
