Job Summary
Evaluate patient conditions, develop treatment plans, and instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs to ensure progress. Communicate patient updates to supervisors, assist with scheduling, and post daily charges to records. Document care accurately in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, clean conditions while adhering to the Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws. This role supports two physiatrists within a CARF-accredited, DNV-stroke-accredited unit that handles complex cases alongside acute care physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
