Job Summary
Assume responsibility for patient care under Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs, including orienting staff and students as a supervisor when needed. Assess patient needs and initiate physical therapy interventions for adult and geriatric populations in inpatient rehabilitation, while observing treatment effects and evaluating progress toward short and long-term goals. Perform accurate assessments and reassessments per policy, conduct QI scoring, and recommend physician changes for pain management or intervention adjustments. Maintain interdisciplinary teamwork and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located
- Current BLS/CPR Card

- Inpatient rehab experience
