Job Summary
Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while helping patients recover and feel better. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members, and assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Instruct patient families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and maintain equipment and work areas in safe, clean conditions. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
