Job Summary
Supervise physical therapy assistants and perform initial and ongoing patient assessments to establish appropriate care plans. Design and execute individually tailored treatment programs that maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning while alleviating pain and preventing dysfunction. Utilize standard techniques and physical agents, including ultrasound machines and moist packs, to deliver therapy interventions based on patient age and condition. Requires a Physical Therapy degree, Ohio license, and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Full-time day shift position at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Physical Therapist license in the state of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire
- critical thinking skills
- decisive judgment
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- ability to work in a stressful environment
