Job Summary
Assume responsibility for patient care under Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs, including orienting staff and assuming supervisory duties during absences. Assess patient needs, identify interventions, and evaluate treatment progress toward short and long-term goals while performing accurate QI scoring. Address pain interfering with rehabilitation participation and make appropriate physician contacts for intervention adjustments. This role supports adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient medical rehabilitation program. Lifepoint Rehabilitation is a leader in community-based care with sites across 29 states.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located
- Current BLS/CPR Card
- one Saturday a month minimum
Desired Qualifications
- Inpatient rehab experience preferred
