Job Summary
Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs to help them get better. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members, while assisting with patient scheduling and posting daily charges to records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition, handling all responsibilities in compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Required Qualifications
- degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
