Job Summary
Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with Life Care standards and applicable regulations. Follow established treatment plans; establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals; oversee PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT/PTA students; chart promptly and accurately; utilize therapy software; demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism; participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate; maintain patient rights, safety, and confidentiality; adhere to company policies and codes of conduct; collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and maintain regular attendance. Mentorship/new-grad support and continued CE/training opportunities are offered as part of a collaborative in-house therapy program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Current active license in the applicable state
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation)
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
