Job Summary
The PT - Physical Therapist provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Essential Functions include following established PT treatment plans, establishing and modifying measurable goals, overseeing and evaluating care provided by PTAs and Rehab Aides, accurate charting, and using therapy software. The role requires excellent customer service, collaboration on an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct. Responsibilities also include coordinating with patients and families, adapting programs to patient needs, and adhering to safety, regulatory, and Life Care policies. New grads are welcome and opportunities for advancement within a network of nearly 200 facilities. The position emphasizes community health involvement, ongoing education, and compliance training, with a focus on patient rights, safety, and quality of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
