Job Summary
Physical Therapist position at Villa Manor Care Center (Lakewood/Denver, CO) offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a full-time role. Provide direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with Life Care standards. Follow established treatment plans, establish and modify measurable goals, oversee and evaluate care provided by PTAs and rehab staff, and ensure timely charting. Utilize therapy software and maintain confidentiality. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team; participate in community health matters as appropriate; adhere to company policies and compliance training; demonstrate integrity and professionalism in a post-acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Current state license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire (or during orientation) and maintained during employment
- 1 year of experience preferred; new grads welcome
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrates knowledge of practices and procedures governing post-acute care facilities
- Ability to chart accurately and timely
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary team
