Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct rehab care in a post-acute care setting at Life Care Center of Sierra Vista. Follow established treatment plans, establish and modify realistic goals, oversee care by PTAs and rehab aides, and ensure timely charting and appropriate use of therapy software. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain patient rights, safety, and confidentiality, and participate in community health matters as appropriate. Requires graduate PT degree (BSPT/MSPT/DPT) and active state licensure; CPR current; new grads welcome. Location: Sierra Vista, AZ; full-time position with benefits and opportunities for advancement within a network of nearly 200 facilities. Essential functions include delivering PT services, supervising support staff, documenting care, and maintaining professional conduct in line with Life Care’s policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Current/state license in good standing to practice physical therapy
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation (current throughout employment)
- One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use therapy software and charting systems
- Demonstrates knowledge of post-acute care practices and regulatory compliance
- Ability to establish and adjust measurable goals and participate in care planning and interdisciplinary teamwork
