Job Summary
Establish and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals for patients upon physician referral. Follow physical therapy treatment plans while overseeing and evaluating care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students. Chart appropriately and utilize therapy software to document progress. Liaise with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan for needs, and assist in patient evacuation. Maintain active licensure in good standing, complete mandatory compliance training, and demonstrate good body mechanics during work. Full-time or PRN; new grads welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience preferred
