Job Summary
Establish and modify realistic, measurable goals for patients receiving direct rehab care following physician referrals. Oversee and evaluate care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and students while charting treatment plans and utilizing therapy software accurately. Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to plan for patient needs, assist in patient evacuation, and maintain confidentiality in a skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation setting. Participate in community health projects and demonstrate good body mechanics throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
