Job Summary

Assist the Director or Clinical Manager with selecting, orienting, and supervising clinical staff, including leading supervisory visits and providing ongoing feedback for training and development. Facilitate staff participation in continuing education, conferences, and professional goal achievement while ensuring compliance with certification, licensure, and regulatory standards. Interface with referral sources and community resources, actively participate in professional organizations, and serve on committees such as the Advisory or Clinical Record Review Committee. Maintain continuity of care as the primary therapist from evaluation to discharge while promoting program expectations and standards between staff and management.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (minimum of a bachelor's degree from an institution approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, the Committee on Allied Health Education, and Accreditation of the American Physical Therapy Association)
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program (minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited jointly by the Commission on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, and the American Occupational Therapy association, or is eligible for the National Registration Examination of the Occupational Therapy Association)
  • Master's Degree Program in Speech and Language Pathology (Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association, or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of meeting the required supervised experience for a certificate)
  • Therapeutic Recreation Therapy Program (bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, NTRS certification)
  • Social Work Program (master's degree in social work and practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or equivalent per state requirements)
  • Neuropsychologist Program, (PhD or PsyD from accredited program or in an accredited training program in Neuropsychology and practicing as a Clinical Neuropsychologist)
  • Experience with treatment of neuro-clients
  • Minimum of one year involvement with treating patients with the company preferred or comparable experience
  • Maintains a professional license/certification as required by the state in which they practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication, supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to maintain a flexible schedule

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification of Brain Injury Specialist (American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists) preferred
