Job Summary
Physical Therapist is needed for home health visits in Fayetteville, NC, servicing adult and geriatric clients across Cumberland, Hoke, and Harnett counties. Responsibilities include making home visits, performing mobility and safety assessments, wound care interventions, developing and implementing individualized care plans with manual therapy, gait and balance training, collaborating with nursing on multidisciplinary care plans, educating clients and families, and accurate documentation using an EMR on a handheld/tablet device. Requires NC PT license, at least 1 year of PT experience, and graduation from an APTA/CAAHEA-approved program; strong time management, communication, and organizational skills; and proficiency with electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- A current North Carolina Physical Therapist - PT license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
