Job Summary
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories in Fayetteville, NC, performing diagnostic tests, mobility assessments, and safety evaluations. Implement integumentary protective interventions and develop individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions. Continually assess and revise care plans while participating with nursing in multidisciplinary discussions. Educate clients and family members in rehabilitative care and instruct them on activities promoting independent living. Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Required Qualifications
- A current North Carolina Physical Therapist - PT license
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills
