Job Summary
Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and functional status. Develop individualized plans of care and execute evidence-based interventions to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent dysfunction. Deliver therapy using standard techniques and modalities while safely administering physical agents and operating equipment. Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices. Direct and supervise PTAs, students, and support personnel; delegate tasks appropriately. Accurately document assessments, interventions, patient response, education, and progress toward goals. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Physical Therapy)
- Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice
- BCLS
- Critical thinking
- decisive judgment
- ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments
- Proficiency in multiple clinical software systems
- rapid learning ability
- Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand)
- Ability to successfully complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire
