Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) position in Hauppauge, NY working with birth-5 children through Early Intervention and CPSE/CSE preschool programs. Responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions in a sensory gym, monitoring progress, updating treatment plans, maintaining confidential records in an EMR system, and collaborating with a team under administrative support. Requires NY licensure as a Physical Therapist, at least 2 years of pediatric experience preferred, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, familiarity with MS Word, and ability to work in-office or clinic settings with flexible scheduling. Salary is hourly with office-based and home/community-based session rates and benefits including mentoring, CEU credits, health and 401K offerings, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York required
- minimum of two years of experience with children preferred
- valid driver's license and proof of car insurance
- MS Word proficiency
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- master’s degree in physical therapy (preferred)
