Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) needed in Powerback facilities to assess patients, develop recovery plans, and deliver personalized physical therapy across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with peers and caregivers, and education to promote independence. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, designing and implementing PT programs to restore and enhance physical abilities, and guiding patients and caregivers in skills necessary for ongoing recovery. The posting notes visa sponsorship and relocation support, a strong clinical mentorship program for new grads, and ongoing CEU opportunities. Requirements include a valid PT license in the practicing state(s) and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (or an equivalent combination as defined), with alternative qualifications outlined for those with a Bachelor's plus extensive PT experience; U.S. degree equivalency evaluation for degrees earned outside the U.S. The position is in-facility with a competitive hourly salary range.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- Degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
