Job Summary
Oversee all rehabilitation services in your facility while providing direct patient care to help older adults and children restore mobility and thrive. Mentor clinical teams through the design and execution of programs that reinforce patient abilities, while collaborating to make necessary referrals for comprehensive treatment. Manage staff motivation and address diverse patient needs across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care settings. This Director of Rehabilitation role supports Powerback's mission to improve lives through personalized therapy for those of all ages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology)
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
- Thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
- Ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
- Ability to effectively manage/motivate staff
