Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy in facility settings while addressing the whole patient as an individual. Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, adapting to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based care environments. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity, collaborating with peers and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
