Physical Therapist - PT

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. As a Physical Therapist, you will: Perform and document an initial exam to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction. Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Apply infection control/universal precautions in patient care. Ensure continuity of quality patient care with appropriate documentation. Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals. Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies. Maintain and complete all documentation within company guidelines.
