Job Summary
Evaluate and assess referred patients' needs to formulate treatment plans in a home care environment. Provide therapy services defined in those plans while working cooperatively with physicians and case managers. Perform a variety of tasks using creativity and latitude as directed. Coverage area includes areas surrounding Austin. Requires a current, unencumbered license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of employment, two years of appropriate experience, and valid CPR certification with practical skills evaluation. Must possess reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Baccalaureate, Master's or Doctorate program in Physical Therapy program accredited by a Physical Therapy accreditation
- Current and unencumbered licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist within the state of employment
- Two (2) years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization
- Possess and maintain valid CPR Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Access to reliable transportation
