Job Summary
Conduct screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-assessment for patients across acute care settings. Explain findings and incorporate patient/family input into goal setting while documenting results, daily encounter notes, and discharge evaluations. Modify plans of care based on evolving conditions and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Manage accurate schedules, meet productivity expectations, and complete appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care. Pursue continuing education and serve as a clinical instructor for students and new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
