Job Summary
Establish and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals for patients based on physician referrals. Follow physical therapy treatment plans while overseeing and evaluating care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and students. Chart appropriately, utilize therapy software accurately, and liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for needs. Communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team and assist in patient evacuation. Demonstrate good body mechanics, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to all Life Care standards and compliance procedures. New grads welcome; full-time or PRN roles with flexible scheduling and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
