Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct rehabilitation care in a post-acute care setting within Life Care Centers of America facilities (SKilled Nursing Facilities). Responsible for following physician-referral treatment plans, establishing and modifying functional goals, supervising PTAs/PTA students, and documenting care. Works with an interdisciplinary team to support long-term and short-term rehab, specializing in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary populations, with emphasis on improving patient functional progress and quality of life. Requires accreditation/licensure in physical therapy, active state license, CPR certification, and ability to use therapy software; new grads are welcome. Position located in Kennewick, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT/MSPT/DPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State (active license)
- CPR certification at hire or during orientation (current during employment)
- New grads welcome; one year experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work within an interdisciplinary team
- English language proficiency
