Job Summary
Complete patient evaluations and initiate treatment planning within 36 hours of referral. Deliver exceptional, patient-centered rehabilitation services in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Exercise sound clinical judgment to make independent decisions while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. Requires current Texas license, BLS certification, and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Availability for PRN weekends is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and make independent decisions when appropriate.
- Proficiency with computers and common healthcare software applications.
- Commitment to maintaining a drug- and alcohol-free workplace.
- PRN Weekend availability
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Previous hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
- Demonstrates professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.
