Job Summary
Assess and treat patients while ensuring evaluations and treatment plans align with the Standard of Practice. Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, discharge summaries, and patient education records. Meet departmental financial and productivity standards by adjusting schedules to meet patient needs. Supervise physical therapy assistant students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality care delivery. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and staff while promoting professional development through in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of applicable state with current licensure
- CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. or D.P.T.
- Active member of APTA
