Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in outpatient physical therapy clinics with a focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations, document findings and progress for patients and caregivers, supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians, complete a written plan of care with goals, implement treatment programs, and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies. Requires CAPTE-accredited PT education, Virginia licensure (or eligibility), CPR certification, and proficiency with EMR systems; in Lynchburg, VA. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state of Virginia license or ability to obtain Virginia license
- CPR certification
- Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
- Able to work autonomously
- Proficiency with EMR and MS Office
