The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants. Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, assisting with training of staff, and participating in discharge planning. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, along with state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state
- Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy
- Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants
- Experience working in a post-acute care setting
- Ability to input data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care
Additional Requirements
- Must meet continuing education requirements per state practices
- Must maintain a license in good standing at all times
