Job Summary
The Physical Therapist position involves screening, evaluating, and providing treatment to residents, ensuring adherence to established Plans of Care and physician orders. Responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing evaluations, completing daily billing and documentation, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, and participating in discharge planning. The role requires a current Texas state license, a graduate degree from an APTA accredited program, and BLS certification, along with proficient computer skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist
- Graduate degree from an APTA accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current Driver’s License
- Current BLS certification
- Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, and coworkers
- Participation in program development and trainings
Additional Requirements
- Must adhere to state and APTA guidelines and company policies
- Must maintain licensure and complete CEUs as required
