Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision of Therapy Leadership. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification, and adhere to departmental policies regarding referral and standards of treatment. This role requires the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and physical movements including gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience
