Job Summary
Physical Therapist PRN in inpatient rehab provides assessment, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity. Implements treatment plans, selects activities, revises goals with patient/family input, provides ongoing education and discharge instructions, and coordinates follow-up and referrals. Serves as a resource to staff and families, collaborates with physicians to establish and reevaluate plans of care, documents sessions per department guidelines, maintains ethical standards, infection prevention, and participates in mandatory education and process-improvement activities. Ensures timely, quality patient care and supports a patient- and family-centered approach within WellStar Health System.”,
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Physical Therapy or Masters Physical Therapy or Bachelors Physical Therapy
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or BLS Instructor)
- All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- Effective communication skills, customer service oriented, team oriented, and basic computer skills
