Job Summary
Independent physical therapist responsible for evaluating and determining treatment strategies, delivering and/or delegating services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain. Emphasis on evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize functional independence. Evaluates strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait and activities of daily living.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- BLS certification from American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
