Job Summary
Physical Therapist responsible for planning and providing physical therapy treatment for patients in accordance with Methodist Healthcare standards. Responsibilities include performing initial patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, providing ongoing reassessment, identifying patient education needs, and maintaining documentation. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and Tennessee licensure; independent judgment, strong communication, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Operates in a clinical hospital setting at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital (PRN/part-time).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensure by Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy (Physical Therapist)
- Ability to perform initial patient assessment and develop/implement treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment
- Ability to perform moderately demanding physical tasks (medium work) including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
- Demonstrates knowledge of patient records and able to document and review patient care
